Our community enterprise craft hub and class venue.
Stitch! was launched in May 2019 aimed at satisfying the needs of the fast-growing army of crafters, sewers, makers from beginners to experts. We run crafting workshops ranging from learning to use a sewing machine for total beginners and gain sewing skills to dressmaking for improvers, patchwork, knitting, crochet, macramé and mosaic as well as sell fabric, haberdashery and crafting supplies.
We have discovered an amazing creative community in Palmers Green and Southgate who are excited about Stitch! and are looking forward to running workshops and helping in the shop, we are always on the lookout for volunteers who share our passion for crafting.
The Stitch! premises are currently based at 2 Hazelwood Lane, Palmers Green, N13 5EX since January 2023. We were situated in the Post Office at 364 Green Lanes, Palmers Green, N13 before this and we originally were based as a pop-up in the former Grout’s draper’s shop, which served the Palmers Green community for more than 60 years.
"If you like crafts it’s fantastic place to go. Great work shops and crafting for children. The sewing classes and crochet groups with fantastic ladies highly recommend. My daughter loves it!"
“What a wonderful community resource on the high street. I had a 1:1 sewing lesson which was inspiration. So much going on there. Lots of different crafts and skills to learn.”
