Calling all those keen knitters out there who enjoy discovering new stitches.

Join us at our Firs Farm Community Hub location and learn this beautiful technique with the talented Alison and project your knitting to the next level.

This workshop will introduce the basic techniques for knitting in more than one colour.

- We will learn to read patterns in both chart and written form.

- We will also look at finishing a piece of work and the gadgets available to help with this type of knitting. The skills learned should be easily transferrable to a larger piece of work.

Participants should be able to knit and follow a basic pattern but experience of colour work is not necessary. This technique is used to make things such as 'Fair Isle' and 'Norwegian designs.

This is a class for the people that are more confident knitters.

Please bring your 4mm knitting needles. We will be providing DK yarn (and knitting needles to borrow on the day) if you do not have your own.
