Want to know how to do simple alterations and repairs on your clothes? Bring along a garment to our sewing surgery and Pat our expert seamstress will advise you on what can be done and how. We will have plenty of hand sewing equipment and some sewing machines for you to have a go at some repairs.
Maybe you want to fix a hole, shape a top, take in a waistband, shorten trousers or a dress. We can give advice and get you started. Simple fixes like loose buttons or straps that are too long will be a breeze, come and learn how to make your clothes fit better and last longer.
This session is only 1.5 hours, complicated alterations or mending will not be achievable within the session but we can advise on what is best to do. Simple alterations and repairs can be talked on the day.

ENTRANCE TO THE CHURCH HALL IS ROUND THE BACK OF THE CHURCH, DOWN QUEENS AVENUE.
