Crafting in a pandemic!

Notes from a crafter.....September 15th 2020

The last few months have been extremely difficult for everyone. For so many of us sewing, knitting, crochet have been our therapy and speaking from my own experience Stitch has definitely inspired me to create so many sewing projects. I have taught myself so many new skills, from quilting, puppet and teddy bear making and so many projects just from fat quarters. What have you been doing?

Restrictions continue, but as a local community we can inspire each other sharing ideas, projects and top tips. There will be a new page on the Stitch website coming soon for sharing Fat Quarter projects. Especially with Christmas coming, let’s get making our presents! Stitch has some fabulous fabrics and the Christmas fabrics are already coming in!

Here is just one sewing idea to share, a course coming soon to make peg pots- they can be adapted to store anything of your choice, a Christmas table gift pot, a storage pot for the baby’s room, a wedding favour pot.

(The pattern came from Little Patch Pockets website)
